The Focus Youth Project is a registered charity (SC050247) We are a youth provision service that delivers youth work services to the Viewpark, Tannochside, Birkinshaw and nearby areas. We work with young people aged between 12 and 25, working through group work programmes that meets their educational, recreational and social needs identified by them. We also assist our older groups with career choices, interview preparation and getting into various further education avenues such as college, university and modern apprenticeships.
We also offer various outdoor training courses for our young people which can see them achieve professionally recognised certificates in the likes of ski-ing, kayaking, mountain biking and powerboating. The project also help facilitate and certificate Duke of Edinburgh courses for our young people. We celebrate these achievements at our annual presentation evening which is a great way for the young people to show their friends and family how much they have achieved over the past year.
